There is a generalized propensity on the part of international consumers towards the adoption of 5G technology : this is the figure that emerges from a survey conducted by the Kantar World Panel which highlights how most of the consumers interviewed plan to buy a new smartphone in next 6 months by opting for a product with 5G technology support.
For the Italian market the figure reported is between 60% and the 70%, an overall high percentage aligned with the North American figure as well as higher than that of the other European nations analyzed. It is not surprising that China, a nation that historically has always adopted technological innovations in terms of data connections very quickly.
The online sales channel for European nations remains very important, capable of recording strong increases in sales during the lockdown period and in the following months given the impossibility of customers to go to stores.
