Apple released a fix for iPhone 11 touch screen issues
Source: IO Tech added 13th Dec 2020Some iPhone 2019 to May 2020 models (iPhone have a problem where the screen’s touch recognition stops working normally.
According to an Apple release, a small percentage of iPhones 11 manufactured between November 2019 and May 2020 suffer from a problem where touch recognition stops working. As a result, the company will offer a free display module replacement for the affected phones. Repair requires that your phone be free of any other defects, such as a cracked display glass or similar, or that they be repaired before replacing the display module. The program is valid for 2 years from the date of original purchase of the phone.
At the same time, a tool was released on Apple’s website to check if a phone is a potentially defective phone based on its serial number. Apple also checks that the phone to be repaired actually has that problem, meaning that the mere joy of switching doesn’t allow you to join the program. Apple urges those who have previously repaired their phone due to this specific problem to contact its customer service so that they can refund the price of that repair.
