Google services have suffered widespread disruptions today. The disruption began in about half of Finland’s time in two countries and extended extensively to Google’s various login services, such as Gmail, YouTube, Maps, Drive, Docs, Calendar and Stadia. The problems also affected e.g. Smart home devices that rely on Google services, as well as services and applications that leverage Google components. Some users have also reported that the Google search service was down for a while. The problems were reported to have alleviated about three Finnish times.

So far, Google has not commented on the problems in general, but e.g. the company’s Workspace Status Dashboard service confirms downtime in services. In addition, the YouTube team has confirmed that the service has suffered from problems on Twitter.
