Note Galaxy Samsung Flip Fold
Samsung is among the manufacturers who believed and invested most in smartphones with flexible screens , presenting several models over the last 2 years. For the 2021 the plans seem to be even more ambitious for this type of product, according to the previews provided by the Korean site etnews.
Samsung would in fact have in anticipation of making available, in the course of 2021, well 4 different smartphone models with flexible screen , expanding its range both with updates of foldable smartphones already on the market and with new models. These smartphones will fall within the Z Fold and Z Flip families, each equipped with 2 different models.
We will not see them in any case during the first months of 2021 , as the debut is expected only from the second half of the year: Samsung is used to using the month of August to announce new smartphones, which it has done with the most recent flexible smartphones on the market.
The range will therefore be maintained, with Galaxy Z Fold 3
which will take the place currently occupied by Galaxy Z Fold 2 and similar dynamics which will take place for Galaxy Z Flip 2 for Galaxy Z Flip. All of these products will have support for 5G technology. The company should present cheaper variants of these products, presumably identified with the initials Lite in the name , so to expand the offer downwards and make these products more accessible, which until now boast very demanding market price lists.
We have already reported how Samsung seems to intend, according to various rumors, to no longer propose new models of the Galaxy Note family . For this reason Galaxy S 21 Ultra, the next generation top-of-the-range smartphone in this family, should implement S-Pen nib holder . We should also find this feature in Galaxy Z Fold 3, confirming the direction that would lead to replacing the Note range also with foldable products.
The expansion of the range of products with screen flexible should not, however, imply the release of models based on different form factors than those currently on the market . Samsung will therefore continue to remain faithful to the designs shown up to now with the Fold and Flip families: it will therefore be 2022 the year of one smartphone with non-flexible but rollable screen?
