Acer is about to expand its lineup of gaming monitors with six new models targeting a wide range of price points and specifications. Acer is also the first brand with TÜV Rheinland Eyesafe-certified gaming monitors, capable of filtering out the blue light without losing the vividness of colours.

Victor Chien, president of digital display business at Acer, stated that the new Acer monitors “feature the industry’s newest technology”, providing gamers with smooth visuals and enhanced ergonomics. The new Acer Predator and Nitro monitors were designed to “appeal to the most power-hungry gamers as well as those who just want to have fun”.

First, we have the Predator XB273U NV certified with TÜV Rheinland Eyesafe and featuring Acer VisionCare 4.0, which includes LightSense, AdaptiveLight, ColorSense and ProxiSense to automatically adjust the monitor’s brightness and colour temperature depending on the ambient light, reducing the user’s eye strain.

This monitor features a 27-inch QHD Agile-Splendor IPS with a 170Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time. This 8-bit panel covers 95% of the DCI-P3 colour spectrum and is calibrated to offer a Delta E
