The Allgemeine Deutsche Fahrrad-Club eV (ADFC) wants to ensure that BER airport is connected to the cycling network. The airport is not safely accessible via bike paths, there are no bike parking spaces.

The club therefore demands the airport company FBB, the federal, state of Berlin and state of Brandenburg shareholders to promote the development of BER. In contrast to BER, important airports such as Amsterdam, Frankfurt or Copenhagen can be reached via the cycle path network of their regions.
