Introduction

My first encounter with Ajazz was only recently in the form of the Kickstarter-backed K620T 2.0, which has been funded successfully and then some since, and the company has even taken my feedback to heart in allowing backers to choose the switch and keyboard color independently of each other. However, Epomaker had actually sent in another Ajazz keyboard prior to the K620T 2.0 which had been on the back burner owing to several embargo releases. Time to get back to it, and thanks again to Ajazz via Epomaker for sending a review sample to TechPowerUp!

The Ajazz Zinc is definitely more subtle-looking than the pastel pink or blue colors of the K620T 2.0, with a white color scheme up top that looks clean. It also adopts a slightly larger 65% form factor in adding arrow keys as well as some keys from the Ins-Pg Dn cluster, but all together in a single bank of keys to differentiate it from the 68% form factor that adds the extra keys separately to the right. Turn things around, however, and we see where the “Zinc” in the name comes in. The keyboard adopts a zinc alloy case, which in itself makes it different from pretty much everything else out there.
