Kingston HyperX

It’s called Alloy Origins 60 the new keyboard of HyperX , Kingston’s gaming brand, presented by CES 2021. As the name suggests, this new solution mechanics comes in a compact format called 60% , designed to be both practical in case of transport and aesthetically satisfying. It is the first of the HyperX house if we exclude the One 2 Mini in partnership with Ducky.

Due to its size, this keyboard has fewer keys than traditional sized keyboards, but not for this it offers less functionality : just use the Fn key to use the secondary functions (as happens on many laptops), which are printed on the vertical part of the keys. As regards the technical characteristics, Alloy Origins 60 is characterized by Red linear mechanical switches developed by HyperX and there is a USB C port for connection to the PC.

Through the memory on board it is possible to save three profiles , accessible from the keyboard itself or from the dedicated software. The latter also serves to customize RGB lighting and set macros. The keycaps are made of PBT double injection , so they are more resistant to wear and to the shiny effect than it is created after prolonged use. The new HyperX Alloy Origins 60 will be available from 22 February to approximately 100 dollars in the United States.
