Back in September we reported on the launch of the Eisblock Aurora Plexi GPX-N and Eisblock ES Acetal from Alphacool for NVIDIA’s RTX GPU reference models from 3080/3090-Series. Based on this, the Braunschweig company is now expanding its product range with the Alphacool Eisblock Aurora Acryl GPX-N for NVIDIA’s RTX 3070 reference model. With the dimensions 122 x 239 x 25 mm and the enclosed backplate, as expected, the cooling block covers all the important components of the graphics card during installation. When developing the Eisblock Aurora GPX-N RTX 3070 graphics card water cooler, great importance was attached to a special RGB style. In this regard, Alphacool has placed the nickel-plated copper cooler closer to the components of the VGA and reduced the thickness of the heat-conducting pads to a thickness of 1 mm. which are now flush with the surface of the terminal. The Alphacool logo is now in the corner on the top and is also fully illuminated like the rest of the cooling block. As with Alphacool’s other models, the fine cooling fins that sit directly above the GPU are 0.6 mm thick.
