After Alphacool launched the full-cover water cooler for the reference and some other versions of the Radeon RX – 6000 series, the model for the Red Devil cards from PowerColor follows today. The Alphacool Eisblock Aurora Acryl GPX-A Radeon RX 6800 (XT) / 6900 XT Red Devil as a full-cover water cooler covers the entire card and is compatible with all Red Devil cards – as all variants of the Radeon RX 6800, Radeon RX 6800 XT and Radeon RX 6900 XT.

In our tests and the PowerColor Radeon RX 6800 XT Red Devil could through their performance and also convince the good cooling. If this air cooling is not quiet enough and if you want to use the potential of the card, such a water cooler is of course a good choice. The cooling channels are spaced 0.6 mm apart. The dimensions are 144 x 263, 5 x 22, 7 mm. The cooler is covered with an acrylic plate. This is illuminated by some RGB LEDs – if desired. Four G1 / 4-inch connections are available for integrating the cooler into the water cooling circuit.

The scope of delivery also includes an aluminum backplate that is marked with 119, 5 x 263, 5 x 6 mm also covers the entire card. Alphacool has made some changes for the Eisblock Aurora water coolers. The thermal pads have been reduced to a thickness of 1 mm. In addition, the nickel-plated copper block was made thinner. Instead of the previous 7 mm, it is now only 5.5 mm thick, which is intended to simplify heat transfer. The water flow in the channels inside the cooler has also been optimized.

In approximately three to four weeks the ice block Aurora Acryl GPX-A Radeon RX 6800 (XT) / 6900 XT Red Devil will be available. The price is 126,99 Euro. All the necessary materials, such as the thermal pads, are included in the scope of delivery.
