Alexa is one of the most widespread virtual assistants. Developed by Amazon, we can find it in a multitude of devices from the company itself and from many others, including compatibility with different smart home ecosystems and other areas. Now, Amazon wants to give other companies the opportunity to have their own smart assistants with their Alexa Custom Assistant platform.
Under this project, the company will make the artificial intelligence system behind Alexa available to companies so that they can develop customized solutions. The idea is to offer this platform and tools so that you can create your own wizards without the need for all the previous development involved in creating an assistant from scratch, thus taking advantage of the work of Amazon with Alexa (after payment to the company, of course). The new assistants will be able to be compatible with Alexa as well and communicate to cooperate.
The Fiat-Chrysler group has already started the development of its own Alexa-based assistant
The first company to sign up for this platform is the FIAT-Chrysle group r, which has begun the development of an intelligent virtual assistant that will end up pre-installed in several of its vehicles throughout the world.
The program Alexa Custom Assistant begins today to be available in several countries around the world, including Spain, so we may start to see new assistants in the future near.
