The upcoming processors based on the Zen 3 architecture promise to be just great. The changes compared to the previous generation turn out to be so big that the increase in performance should satisfy everyone. There are only days until the premiere of the first Ryzen series 5000, but this does not mean that we will have to wait for the first test results. In the PassMark benchmark database, a 6-core / 12 has already appeared – a threaded AMD chip Ryzen 5 5600 X. As it turned out, it made its debut at the first place in the Single Thread Performance category (single thread performance), outclassing much more expensive competitors from Intel’s stable. Is he getting a knockout from the Reds?

AMD Ryzen 5 5600 X has already found its way to the PassMark program database and immediately overtook Intel Core i9 – 10900 K in the Single Thread Performance test. The advantage was as high as 10%.

AMD Ryzen 7 5800 X, Ryzen 9 5900 X, Ryzen 9 5950 X – Zen 3 premiere

Interestingly, Ryzen 5 5600 X is the only one the system from the new series in the list, and yet on the way there are even higher-clocked models that can take its place. The result of the 6-core is 3495 points, and for comparison, the current leader of Intel Core i9 – 10900 K dialed “only” 3177 points The advantage over the most powerful Intel unit is therefore 10%. It is also worth paying attention to the prices of these processors – Ryzen was priced at 299 dollars, while Comet Lake costs approx. 549 dollars. Against the background of the new Vermeer, the predecessor Ryzen 5 3600 X with the result 2833 points The successor is therefore in this test as much as 23% faster.

AMD Ryzen 5 5600 included in the price 220 USD may appear in 2021 of the year

It is true that the new Ryzen series will be more expensive than its predecessors (in the case of the model 5600 X the price will be higher by 50 dollars to 3600 X), but once again we see that the surcharge will be fully justified. We are very curious to see how the processors will fare in other, more practical comparisons. Everything will be clear on November 5 – then the official premiere of Ryzen 9 5950 X, Ryzena 9 5900 X, Ryzena 7 5800 X and the discussed Ryzena 5 5600 X.
