We recently saw how AMD announced the new Ryzen processors 5000 Series, the new Ryzen processors with Zen 3 architecture , and they promised big performance increases compared to processors with Zen 2 architecture , something that although promising , it is always important to take with caution.

However, performance results have appeared in PassMark that put the smallest of the newly introduced processors, the n, at the top of Passmark’s single-core performance scales, with an advantage. of some 300 points above the second place, occupied neither more nor less than by the Intel Core i9 – 10900 K.

This implies that the AMD Ryzen 5 5600 X , which is the processor with the lowest frequencies presented of this generation, with a turbo frequency of 4.6GHz , it will already be able to overcome to Intel’s top-of-the-range model in tasks that depend on single-thread performance, such as games.

It should be noted that these processors have not yet reached the market, so there are still optimizations that could be made at the driver and BIOS level , as well as the possibility of preliminary results achieved with overclock , so although these results look very good, it is always prudent wait for the reviews to make their performance clear.
