Well, 3 years since the appearance of the first generation AMD Ryzen, during which time AMD has continued to amaze us, with each new launch, with each new processor, with each small step taken in the same direction. Because sometimes, a difficult road is easier to cross through small and constant steps. And today, my dear ones, after more than 3 years, we reached the end of this road together.
Why do I say that? Well, AMD really managed to amaze us, changing the processor market as we know it, throwing processors into more and more cores, in a market that had stagnated far too long. And I appreciated the first Ryzen and the quality / price ratio it offered, but Intel still managed to keep its advantage. We appreciated the Ryzem series 2000, which was a considerable step forward, as well as the monstrous Threadripper, which showed us what can be done when we use a modern manufacturing process.
And the Ryzen series 3000 brought even more performance, surpassing Intel in the vast majority of cases. And yet, the journey was not complete, with Intel processors offering higher gaming performance. Well my dears, today we are witnessing a historic moment together. Today, the journey started with the first AMD Ryzen series, finally comes to an end. Today, you will see something that does not even happen in the glory days of Athlon 329.
The AMD Ryzen series 5000 is officially launched today, and this time we are not talking about processors suitable for renderings, but less effective in games. This time, AMD has finally gotten where it set out to be, defeating Intel in any situation, without appeal, including in games. From now on, the phrase “worlds best gaming CPU” will disappear from Intel’s presentations.
