Whitey

We had a wonderful fall, at least in the hardware segment. With a considerable leap in terms of video cards and a series of new processors from AMD that surpass any expectation and any competition! And things are far from quiet – we still have new processors to test and we also have new video cards to test. Until then, if the new AMD processors were still launched today, we thought of putting them to work not only in benchmarks, but also in a system. After all, that’s what we’re going to use them for, isn’t it?

Obviously, at the moment the new AMD graphics cards have not yet appeared, so so I chose an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090 as a partner of the newly launched AMD Ryzen 9 5900 X. After all, at least for now, it is the most powerful graphics card available on the market. Admittedly, it is a rather rare bird and few have the opportunity to see it live, so at least in our system you can admire it, if you are not among the lucky ones who have already come into possession of a specimen.

About RTX 3080 and RTX 3090 we’ve discussed it in several articles, so we all know what performance we can expect, while AMD Ryzen 9 5900 X and AMD Ryzen 5950 X have just been released, and we published the launch review earlier. As a result, it remains to be seen how they fit together, in a cold system like the book, with selected pieces from EKWB.
