The latest AMD Ryzen series processors 5000 will be available for sale in a few days. which has been said a lot since their official presentation. First, the stores will hit four units: 6-core and 12 – threaded AMD Ryzen 5 5600 X, 8-core, and 16 – threaded AMD Ryzen 7 5800 X, 12 – core and 24 – threaded AMD Ryzen 9 5900 X and 16 – core and 32 – threaded AMD Ryzen 9 5950 X. All processors are also to be great for games due to many necessary architectural improvements. From time to time, new performance tests, mainly presenting the capabilities of a single thread, enter the network. This time we got to know the results of the CPU-Z program for two processors: AMD Ryzen 7 5800 X and AMD Ryzen 9 5950 X. They show that Intel may actually lose the last bastion, where it was the best until recently.

Performance tests for AMD Ryzen 7 processors appeared in the CPU-Z database 5800 X and AMD Ryzen 9 5950 X. Both processors perform better than Intel Core i9 – 10900 K in terms of single-threaded performance.

AMD Ryzen 7 5800 X, Ryzen 9 5900 X, Ryzen 9 5950 X – Zen 3 premiere

Tests of upcoming AMD units discovered in the CPU-Z database. For 8-core and 16 – threaded Ryzen 7 5800 X result in the single-thread test was 650 points. For comparison, the top Intel Core i9 – 10900 K obtained in the same test 584 points. So I am talking about a close 11% difference in favor of AMD. Even better is the AMD Ryzen 9 5950 X, which has a single-threaded result 690 points (as long as the leak from the Chinese ChipHell website is genuine), so close to 15% better than Intel Core i9 – 10900 K.

The new AMD Vermeer processors based on the Zen 3 architecture are intended to be an excellent choice for both gamers and creators. They have much higher performance in tests strongly focused on the power of a single core, they have better OC potential than the predecessors of the Ryzen series 3000, and also offer more better perf / watt ratio. Extensive performance tests will be available soon and we will be able to finally check whether AMD processors will also beat Intel in the segment where they have not yet succeeded, i.e. in games.
