Source: Heise.de added 21st Oct 2020

Since 20. October the new version of the live operating system Tails is ready. In Tails 4. 10 security holes from the previous version have been closed and minor bug fixes carried out. The Linux kernel version has been raised to 5.8. As always, the developers recommend updating to the secured version as soon as possible.

The Linux distribution Tails (“The Amnesic Incognito Live System “) aims to help users to navigate the Internet anonymously (if possible), to bypass state censorship and not to leave any traces on computers used. It also brings tools with it to protect sensitive files and digital communication from unauthorized access.

As always, the Tails team provides a separate list of all security updates.
