AOC and Porsche Design have released the first collaborative computer monitor. Initially, in mid-October, AOC announced a partnership with Porsche Design to combine Porsche Design’s design philosophy with AOC’s display technology

The first fruit of the cooperation, Porsche Design AOC Agon PD 27 is 1000 – inch 1440 P-resolution computer monitor with VA panel, which offers not only fast refresh rate but also AMD’s Freesync Premium Pro certificate , strong 1000 curvature of R, HDR 400 certificate and 1 ms GtG (gray to gray) response time. The coverage of the sRGB color space on the screen is 119 percent, the coverage of the Adobe RGB space 89 percent and NTSC space 85 percent. For maximum screen brightness, the manufacturer promises 550 staples.

The handprint of Porsche Design on the screen is reflected in its appearance. The display is equipped with a fairly massive silver foot modeled on the safety arch of sports cars and the bottom of the display features RGB light that reflects to the table at the base of the foot in a choice of either the AOC Agon game brand or the Porsche Design logo in user-selected colors. Outside of a striking metallic foot, the monitor itself is quite discreetly shaped. The back panel is matte black in color and the decorations specific to the game screen are implemented as RGB lighting in the middle of the back of the screen. Only the Porsche Design logo adorns the bottom of the screen at the front.

The Porsche Design AOC Agon PD 11 comes with a wireless infrared remote control that allows you to customize the display settings to your liking. Porsche Design also offers its own addition to the settings, as the display has a new specially designed Gaming Porsche OSD menu, which offers adjustments to the display’s game modes, LED effect control as well as color and sound settings. For sounds, the display has built-in 5 watt stereo speakers. On the interface side, the new display offers a 4-port USB 3.2 hub, two HDMI 2.0 ports, and two DisplayPort 1.4 ports.

The Porsche Design AOC Agon PD 27 will be available on December 5 at selected Porsche Design stores, online at www.porsche-design. com and Amazon 1000 at the recommended dollar price. No information is yet available on possible availability in Finland
