Introduction
The AOC U28G2XU2 is a 28-inch 4K gaming monitor, equipped with a 144 Hz IPS panel. It comes with a four port USB 3.2 Gen 1 hub, two DisplayPort 1.4 inputs, and a pair of HDMI 2.1 inputs, making it an interesting choice for users who play PC and console games on the same screen, as they can seamlessly switch between 4K@144 via DisplayPort for PC gaming and productivity, and 4K@120 for PlayStation 5/Xbox Series X gaming.
The monitor carries the AMD FreeSync Premium and VESA DisplayHDR 400 badges. More importantly, the screen position is fully adjustable (height, tilt, swivel, pivot). Coming in at €520 in Europe, the AOC U28G2XU2 is the least expensive gaming monitor with the aforementioned technical specifications, so it will be interesting to explore if it cuts any important corners compared to its competitors.
