Apple iPhone 12 Pro – performance results from AnTuTu and Geekbench

Source: Pure PC added 16th Oct 2020

During the last conference of the giant from Cupertino, the manufacturer assured us that the new iPhones 12 Pro are about 50 proc. faster than the most efficient smartphones available on the market today. Yes, Apple A-series processors have always offered very good performance, which, combined with iOS optimization, allowed for many years of operation of smartphones without significant slowdowns. Should this last assurance be taken seriously? It turns out that it is, as evidenced by the result in the Geekbench benchmark. Slightly weaker, but still record-breaking iPhones 12 and 12 Pro fell out in the AnTuTu benchmark. However, we will not describe the performance descriptively. Let’s take a look at the numbers as they give you the full view here.

Apple iPhone smartphones 12 and 12 Pro appeared in the AnTuTu benchmark database and Geekbench. We check how efficient the new devices are equipped with Apple A processors 14 Bionic.

Apple iPhone smartphones 12 and iPhone 12 mini have only 4 GB RAM

Let’s start with the Geekbench benchmark, because this is where the greatest strength of the manufacturer can be seen. Apple iPhone 12 Pro got a score on it 1597 points in single-core mode and 4152 points in multi-core mode. For example, the most efficient smartphones this year turned in Geekbench respectively 972 and 3139 points (Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2), 934 and 2784 points (Samsung Galaxy Note 20) and 992 and 3213 points (ASUS ROG Phone 3). Apple’s latest smartphone simply embarrasses the competition, but I would honestly be surprised if it were otherwise. What are the AnTuTu results?

Apple iPhone 12 officially – 4 5G smartphone models for each

Here you will find the results of both devices, the regular iPhone 12 and the iPhone 12 Pro. Let’s start with the theoretically weaker one. He obtained 564899 points, which means that the model with the note Pro collected as many as 572133 points. The poorer option is therefore slightly below this year’s leaders in terms of performance, but the Pro version is in the middle of this group. It must be admitted, however, that in AnTuTu it loses to the gaming ASUS. It is possible that this result was obtained shortly after the first configuration, and as you know, the data obtained then may be more or less weaker than the later ones.
