ARCTIC introduces Freezer 50, an air cooler for the latest AMD Ryzen and Intel Core

Freezer 50 is the new dual tower air cooler of ARCTIC, compatible with Intel and AMD mainstream platforms. Equipped with two fans of different sizes, it should be able to handle even the most powerful CPUs. There is no lack of ARGB lighting.

ARCTIC announced Freezer 25 , a new dual tower heatsink compatible with socket AM4 of AMD Ryzen CPUs and the latest Intel sockets, from LGA 1151 to the latest LGA 1200 of the 10th Generation Core processors. The air cooler comes after the Freezer 50 TR dedicated to Ryzen Threadripper platforms, and is sold at 59, 99 euro in the version without ARGB controller included and 69, 99 euro with the controller . In both cases, the product is accompanied by MX-4 thermal paste.
Freezer 50 features six 6mm direct contact heatpipes and 104 aluminum fins with a thickness of 0.4 mm . Its dimensions are 148 x 149, 5 x 166 mm (L x W x H) for a total weight of 1160 grams. On the tower there are two fans in push-pull configuration, one from 120 mm and one from 140 mm for a noise level of 0.4 sone at maximum speed (23, 5 ~ 25 dBA).
The fan from 120 mm work between 200 is 1800 RPM, while the one from 140 mm works between 200 is 1700 RPM and are of type Fluid Dynamic Bearing (FDB) . As for the RGB lighting positioned in the central part of the heatsink, we find 13 LED ARGB , can be connected to the motherboard via a 3-pin connector. As mentioned, ARCTIC also sells a version with a dedicated controller for those motherboards without an ARGB connector.
