It is not the first time that ASRock surprises with strange and usually compact hardware, as is the case with ITX motherboards with LGA sockets 2011 – 3, LGA 3647 and AMD SP3 , and although this time they are not the first, this time ASRock has released a graphics card in M. 2.
It should be noted that it is not a traditional graphics card in the sense that it will not allow us to play games or work with any type of 3D content, given that the chip that gives life to this card is a Silicon Motion SM 750 , a display driver that features 16 MB of onboard memory and a PCI Express x1 interface to connect to the system.
On the other side we find a head that will serve us to connect an I / O board with a VGA port with a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1440 pixels , more than enough to access a user interface on, for example, a server that in itself does not have a way to emit image by itself.
ASRock Rack has not mentioned the price of this ta graphic card , which in any case can only be purchased from distributors that specialize in this type of server products, although The company claims that it will work on basically any platform that supports PCI Express , among which are AMD, Intel, Freescale PPC, AMCC, STMicro, Marvell, Loongson, and ZFMicro.
