Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla was released in the first half of November, collecting quite positive feedback from both reviewers and players. The game did not introduce such big changes as the Odyssey compared to Origins, but for some it is the best version after switching to a more “erpeg” formula. However, it does not lack elements that deserve criticism. Can you include microtransactions that players hate? Ewelina admitted in our review that although you can buy silver or crafting materials to facilitate the game in the Uplay store, in fact there is no such need. Although Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla does not require players to “grind” such as Odyssey, Ubisoft decided to make their lives even easier.

New forms have been added to Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla microtransactions. From now on, you can buy a permanent 50% bonus to experience points and silver. Ubisoft has prepared them for players who have less free time.

AC: Valhalla introduces new forms of micropayments with a significant bonus to experience points, saving you time. The bonus is really big, because it amounts to 50%, but the cost is also considerable – a thousand Helix credits (10 dollars, that is 40 PLN). The increase in gained XP points applies to every activity in the game, not only combat, but also completing tasks and side activities. There is also an option for 1500 Helix Credits, i.e. 15 dollars (60 PLN), which also provides a bonus to the silver earned.

The microtransactions in Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla were not particularly loud after the premiere. You can even say that they went a bit unnoticed due to the slight invasiveness, although most users would rather agree that micropayments in single player games should not occur. Ubisoft, however, sees the legitimacy of this decision and explains it with the desire to make life easier for players who have less free time and would like to get the most out of the game. Don’t worry – adding these microtransactions did not affect the amount of experience points earned in AC: Valhalla. What’s more, the purchase of XP benefits is one-time and works on all saves – therefore, the plans are not dictated solely by profit considerations, because the bonus is not limited in time.
