These days ago there has been some tension regarding ASUS support for its existing series motherboards 400, which. Allegedly according to an email sent to a Reddit user, they weren’t going to receive any updates to allow the installation of a 4th generation AMD Ryzen processor in them.

However, just like We can see from Guru3D, ASUS has officially stated that its motherboards with series chipsets will receive BIOS updates to add support to AMD processors Ryzen 5000 , something that aligns perfectly with the plans set out by AMD .

These updates would arrive for January 2021 , so effectively ASUS will work with approximately the same terms as the rest of the manufacturers, as is customary in the industry, where each manufacturer update your motherboards as they are updated developed and tested internally.

Definitely , this is a huge relief to all ASUS motherboard users of this generation, who for a while have believed that the company would leave them without support on their motherboards that could have been bought recently or even as an intermediate stop in order to update its processor before the launch of the new chips.
