Graphics monitors are in most cases designed entirely for professional users and are accordingly extremely expensive. The ASUS ProArt PA 244 QV show that is just round 330 costs euros and should nevertheless come up with an accurate color display and extensive equipment. How good is the 27 – Zöller beats in practice, we clarify in our test.
The color quality of monitors has increased steadily in recent years. In the meantime, you see a large color space coverage more often – but anyone who seriously wants to work with pictures and videos or earns their money with them is dependent on quality as well as quantity. The ASUS ProArt PA 244 QV should completely cover the sRGB color space and, thanks to its sRGB presets, deliver a particularly precise result. At the same time, a DeltaE of less than 2 should enable a particularly precise color display. The display comes pre-calibrated to the buyer.
ASUS would like all of this at a comparatively low price of around 330 offer euros. So it’s not surprising that high-end values cannot be thrown around elsewhere. A 27 inch large IPS panel for use, which is equipped with 2. 560 x 1. 440 resolves pixels, so it does not yet offer UHD. ASUS also dispenses with a quantum dot backlight. Accordingly, there will be cuts in DCI-P3 and AdobeRGB, but sRGB is still the standard in classic image processing saves in every nook and cranny, we can reassure you in advance. The housing offers numerous ergonomic adjustment options and one or the other special feature tailored to designers. We will go into more detail on the following pages.
