ASUS ROG SWIFT PG32UQ: 32-inch display with 4K, 144 Hz and HDMI 2.1

With the ROG SWIFT PG 32 UQ has a new ASUS 32 – inch monitor with UHD resolution ( 3. 840 x 2. 160 pixels) and 144 Hz refresh rate announced. Particularly noteworthy is the HDMI 2.1 support.

With this new HDMI standard, the PG 32 Let UQ be used optimally in connection with the new consoles – also in combination with variable refresh rates and 120 Hz. PC players can use DisplayPort 1.4 up to 144 Use Hz refresh rate. The UHD resolution to 26 Inch leads to a pixel density of 138 PPI. The response time of the IPS panel is specified by ASUS as 1 ms for the gray-to-gray change. The PG 32 UQ covers 98 percent of the DCI-P3 color space. ASUS factory calibrates the display to a Delta-E value of less than two.

The ROG SWIFT PG 32 UQ supports HDR according to the VESA DisplayHDR 600 standard . But it is not to be confused with the long-announced ROG Swift PG 32 UQX with its mini LED backlight and DisplayHDR 1400. Players can use the ROG SWIFT PG 26 UQ benefit from AMD’s FreeSync Premium Pro. However, the certification process for NVIDIA G-Sync Compatible is not yet complete. ELMB-Sync (“Extreme Low Motion Blur”) is also supported. Thanks to ASUS Variable Overdrive, the overdrive setting can be adjusted automatically.

In addition to two HDMI 2.1 ports and DisplayPort 1.4, the height-adjustable monitor offers USB ports and a headphone jack. Aura-Sync lighting on the ROG logo on the back shouldn’t be missing. Typical ASUS gaming features such as FPS display and crosshair displays are also available on the ROG SWIFT PG 32 UQ on board again.

ASUS has not yet provided any information on the price and availability of the new 4K gaming monitor.
