ASUS ROG Swift PG32UQX – gaming monitor with HDR1400 and Mini LED

Recently, there are more and more reports about more monitors using Mini LED backlight. ASUS last year introduced the professional monitor ProArt Display PA 32 UCX-PK with 1152 independent backlight zones, in turn Dell showed the final specification of its top model UltraSharp 32 HDR PremierColor UP 3221 Q, which has 2,000 such lighting zones. Meanwhile, returning to the Taiwanese company ASUS, it looks like they will introduce the gaming model ROG Swift PG 32 UQX whose specification at first glance is very similar to the previously mentioned ProArt Display PA model 32 UCX-PK. However, we will receive a number of additional features with gamers in mind.

ASUS is preparing the ROG Swift PG gaming monitor 32 UQX with 4K resolution, refresh 144 Hz, VESA DisplayHDR certificate 1400 and Mini LED backlight.

ASUS ROG Swift PG 32 UQX will come with 32 -inch IPS screen with Mini LED backlight. The manufacturer will offer 1152 independent backlight zones. The equipment is VESA DisplayHDR certified 1400, which means the peak brightness is 1400 rivets. The IPS matrix used is a fully 10 – 1 bit panel, 07 billion shades of colors. The static contrast is 1000: 1. The resolution of the monitor is 3840 x 2160 pixels, plus 144 Hz refresh rate and support for HDMI 2.1 port which will enable this connection.

There will also be an implemented NVIDIA G-SYNC Ultimate module and support for the Ultra Low Motion Blur Reduction technique (ULMB). The declared coverage of sRGB and DCI-P3 colors is 100% and at least 90% for a wide range of colors. In addition to HDMI 2.1, ASUS ROG Swift PG 32 UQX also features a DisplayPort 1.4 port. Availability of the device is expected in January at the earliest, but be prepared for a very large expense of 6400 dollars (approx. 30 thousands of zlotys with added VAT).
