ASUS is one of the first manufacturers to show the first details of the planned custom designs for the Radeon-RX – 6000-Series. Among other things, a water-cooled ROG Strix LC Radeon RX is planned 6800 XT OC Edition. Air-cooled models from the TUF Gaming and ROG Strix series will also be shown.

No technical data is given for the individual models. So it is not known whether ASUS can go a step further in terms of clock rate. In addition, the models of the Radeon RX are missing 6800 XT still complete in this announcement. There are no prices either.

Since we already know the cooling of the ROG Strix and TUF cards quite well, we will concentrate on the ROG Strix LC Radeon RX 6800 XT OC Edition. This has a water cooling on the card. Two 600 mm long hoses lead the waste heat to the 240 – mm radiator. However, there is an additional radial fan on the card, which is supposed to cool the power supply and other components of the card the rumored 2.5 GHz boost. It remains to be seen whether this will really be the case. If there is a ROG Strix LC Radeon RX 6800 XT OC Edition, you can certainly also use a variant of the Radeon RX 6900 Expect XT. It has not yet been confirmed whether the high-end model will really be an AMD-exclusive card.
