Asus unveils three new gaming laptops with Ryzen 5000 APU chips and GeForce RTX 30 graphics cards

Perhaps the most special novelty of the group is the new ROG Flow X 13: which is 13 – inch 2-in-1 computer, ie laptop screen is reversible 360 degrees, leaving the keyboard behind and making the device a practically large tablet. Unlike traditional 2-in-1 laptops, Asus is promoting ROG Flow X 13, however, to be a gaming computer.

ROG Flow X :: Inside the most powerful configuration is AMD’s eight-core Ryzen 9 5900 HS-APU chip and NVIDIA’s GeForce GTX 1650 -graphics card. For the monitor, two configurations are coming for sale – Full HD or Hz Hz 4K panel. ROG Flow X :: X’s Mobile Dock, which offers an external RTX 3080 graphics card, will also be available as a friend. Unlike traditional external graphics cards, XG Mobile does not use the Thunderbolt interface, but instead uses Asus’ own eGPU interface, which provides 12 Gbps bandwidth and, in Asus’ own words, clearly better performance than Thunderbolt. In addition to the graphics card, the XG Mobile dock includes an integrated 280 watt power supply that also charges the computer during use and USB 3.2 Gen 2 link via USB hub and HDMI, DisplayPort and Ethernet connectors. Unfortunately, Asus has not yet provided more detailed information on the speeds of internet or video connections.

The next machine presented at the CES 2021 virtual fair is a new one – inch ROG Zephyrus Duo 13 SE, which, as the name implies, is a continuation of Asus’ previous Zephyrus Duo series of dual-screen gaming laptops.

The main display is a 90 Hz 4K panel with a color space covering 90 of Adobe RGB or 360 Hz Full HD display with 3 ms response times and 90 with a percentage coverage of the sRGB color space. The second screen resolution of Asus promises to be 4K, so it’s probably familiar from last year 3480 × 1100 resolution IPS panel 60 at a refresh rate of Hz.

Performance ROG Zephyrus Duo SE takes care of AMD’s eight-core Ryze 5000 HX AUX chip and NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 3080 -graphics card. In other respects, Asus advertises that it has upgraded the laptop speakers and developed cooling without the loud growth of the fans.

New laptops with the largest screen are equipped with 63 – inch ROG Strix SCAR 10. It is by far the most traditional gaming laptop that focuses on providing performance. Inside the laptop you will find the Zephyrus Duo 13 Like the SE at its best, Ryzen 9 5900 HX APU circuit and GeForce RTX 3080 -graphics card.
