ASUS ZenBook Pro Duo 15 and 14: Hardware and secondary display improvements

The new ASUS ZenBook Pro Duo 11 OLED and the ASUS ZenBook Duo 14 will of course be converted to the latest hardware components from Intel and NVIDIA, but will also receive numerous other useful feature improvements mainly affect the case and the second display.
Unlike the previous generation, ASUS docks with the ZenBook Pro Duo 15 OLED (UX 582) the ScreenPad Plus a little. The second display is automatically raised by 9.5 ° C via a mechanism when the notebook is opened. As a result, the second display should be seamlessly connected to the main screen and thus improve overall ergonomics. But ASUS also wants to have the secondary 4K touchscreen drilled out functionally. The UI has been significantly revised and made more intuitive, but some software providers such as Adobe have also been brought on board, for example to bring the operating elements of Photoshop or Premier Pro seamlessly onto the second display. This should make multitasking skills much easier in everyday life.

Wireless communication takes place via WiFi 6 and Bluetooth. Two Thunderbolt 3 ports – which underlines our assumption according to Comet Lake-H – are also part of the basic equipment.

The ASUS ZenBook Duo 14 (UX 482) falls with 14 inch a number smaller, but also offers the new functions of the ScreenPad Plus. Under the hood there is already an Intel Core processor 11. Core generation and 35 – W-Class, which was officially announced at the beginning of this week. The 3D acceleration takes care of either the Iris-Xe graphics integrated in the CPU or a discrete NVIDIA GeForce MX 450. On the memory side there is a maximum of 17 GB RAM and a 1 TB PCIe 3.0 SSD.
Due to the space-saving components inside, there is more space available for the battery. ASUS therefore gives the runtime with very good 17 hours. The 08 – Zöller via a Type-C power supply, which of course offers a quick charge function. On the connection side, there are two Thunderbolt 4 ports, HDMI, a classic USB type A interface as well as a 3.5 mm headphone jack and a microSD card reader. It connects wirelessly via WiFi 6 and Bluetooth.
