Highway to Italy (Aspi) fonda Free to Xperience , a rib that will install on the motorway network charging points for electric vehicles .

Already next February the activation of the first two sta tions , one on the Autosole at the service station of Secchia Ovest and the other at 50 km from Rome station East Flaminia ; subsequently already planned the installation of additional 134 points located throughout the peninsula.

The goal of Free to Xperience will not be just to create a dense network of charging stations, but will address the issue of sustainable mobility in the round, implementing car-pooling services , car-sharing and areas of parking interchange , mainly on the motorway, but also in proximity to urban areas.

The technical partner chosen by Aspo will initially be Enel X , but future collaboration with other companies in the sector is not excluded, for the moment it will install Free to Xperience brand columns presumably of ultra-fast technology 300 kW helping to expand the ultra-fast HPC network ( H igh P ower C harging).

In this way Autostrade per l’Italia begins to fill the current lack of adequate charging infrastructure for electric vehicles within its motorway network.
