Introduction

The AVerMedia Core Go (GC313) and Elite Go (GC313Pro) are the newest and quite possibly the most unusual additions to the company’s Go product family. The $90 Core Go and the $130 Elite Go are essentially GaN charging docks with nifty extra capabilities, such as video passthrough (Core Go) and even 1080p60 video capture (Elite Go).

Both the Core Go and Elite Go plug into a wall socket and feature USB PD 3.0 100 W quick charging through two USB-C ports. With such high output power, these can be used to charge various mobile devices, including (but not limited to) smartphones, tablets, handheld consoles and laptops. They also contain a USB Type-A port, which can be used to connect peripherals such as keyboards, mice and microphones, as well as a HDMI output, giving you an option to display the video coming from the source via USB-C on a large screen at up to 4K60. The secondary USB-C port on the Core Go can be used to charge additional devices, while the one on the Elite Go can also be used as an output for the integrated capture card.
