AVM publishes a new laboratory update for two FRITZ! Boxes

After the German manufacturer AVM already offered the FRITZ! Box 7590 has published a new laboratory version, the company is now stepping up again and is releasing an updated version for both the FRITZ! Box 7590 as well as for the 7490. Among other things, the latest update ensures that the latest weather information will be displayed on the FRITZ! Fon in the future. A new journal for received and sent fax messages is also included in the boxes mentioned.
There is also a send function for SMS and a new journal for received and sent SMS (only 68 xx) ready. In addition to giving preference to one network device over all others, further improvements include password visibility when assigning and entering it.

Box user interface (from firmware update 5. 10 for the FRITZ! DECT 440). Switching the WLAN guest access on and off at the touch of a button on the FRITZ! DECT 440 as well as the display of the QR code is also possible. In addition, the answering machine can be switched on and off by pressing a button on the FRITZ! DECT 440 will be realized. The display of the port forwarding overview on mobile devices has also been improved. AVM has also succeeded in increasing the robustness of DNS over TLS (DoT) through rare latency measurements.
