be quiet! has unveiled two new products for the DIY PC market: the Pure Base 501 mid-tower and the Pure Power 12 PSU. Although not high-end, the new Pure Base cases and Pure Power PSUs promise to offer the same superior build quality that be quiet! is known for.

The Pure Base 501 cases are aimed at users seeking a compact yet versatile casing. With a design philosophy rooted in classic aesthetics without flashy ARGB, this series is perfect for gamers and business professionals. The lineup boasts various configurations, including models focused on silent operation with closed front panels or airflow-optimised layouts featuring mesh fronts. The latter are available in black and white, with or without a left-side tempered glass.

Compatible with ATX, mATX, and Mini-ITX motherboards, the Pure Base 501 cases can pack a variety of hardware configurations. Cooling is managed by two PWM-controlled Pure Wings 3 140mm fans: one at the front and one at the rear. If that’s not enough, users can effortlessly install 3x 120mm or 2x 140mm fans (or a 360/280 radiator) at the front and 2x 140/120mm fans (or a 240 radiator) at the top. The case comes with an HDD cage for 2x 3.5-inch drives, and there’s space for 5x 2.5-inch drives, graphics cards up to 368mm long, 200mm-long PSUs (180mm with HDD cage installed), and 178mm-tall coolers.

On the PSU front, be quiet! has introduced the ATX 3.1- and PCIe 5.1-compliant Pure Power 12 lineup. Essentially a fixed-cable variant of the Pure Power 12 M, these new PSUs are 80 Plus Gold-certified and were designed to operate nearly silently using a 120mm fan. Customers can choose from various wattages, including 1000W, 850W, 750W, 650W, and 550W.

The Pure Base 501 and Pure Power 12 will be available starting November 12th. The cases are backed by a three-year warranty, while the PSUs have a ten-year warranty.
