The German company be quiet! has now presented the Silent Base 802 to the public. The scope of delivery of the new housing includes two exchangeable front panels and lids. Here, users can either focus on noise isolation or on maximizing cooling performance. According to the manufacturer, the Silent Base 802 is suitable for PC enthusiasts who are looking for a case that can be flexibly adapted to the needs of the respective situation. The case will be available in stores in both black and white. There is also a variant with a side window made of tempered glass or a sound-insulated steel side part.

The Silent Base 802 is ex works with a closed front Panel and a two-part, sound-absorbing cover. The cooling performance can be increased by exchanging the supplied mesh variants. The scope of delivery also includes three pre-installed Pure Wings 2 140 – mm fans (two on the front, one on the back). The integrated fan control supports up to six 3-pin fans and also offers a PWM hub function. Another special feature of the white Silent Base 802 is the mesh lid. This has a two-tone contrast design. In addition, the positioning of the mainboard tray can be inverted and the side panels can be removed at the push of a button.

Radiators with a length of 120 mm, 240 mm or 360 mm and optionally up to three fans with a diameter of 120 mm or 140 mm can be attached to the mounting frame located under the cover, which can be pulled out from the side. Furthermore, unused hard disk bays with HDD slot covers have been installed in the window variant. The height of the covers can be adjusted in two stages to serve as a passage for cables of different diameters. Alternatively, they can also be completely closed. If users opt for an alternative mainboard layout, it is possible to mount the glass window on the other side of the case. The I / O panel on the front of the housing also offers a USB 3.2 Gen2 Type C port.
