The cryptocurrency Bitcoin is on the rise: for the first time in years it has risen significantly and again reaches the mark of 14. 000 U.S. dollar.

The digital currency Bitcoin continues to soar. For the first time since the beginning 2018 the oldest and most famous digital currency passed the mark of 14. 000 U.S. dollar (12.000 Euro). Most recently, the price on the Bitstamp cryptocurrency exchange came back a little 13. 911 dollars.

Paypal accesses Cryptocurrencies recently received fresh impetus from the announcement by the payment service provider PayPal that its customers (at least in the USA) would be able to use them . The news follows other well-received news like the establishment of a Bitcoin fund by major investment firm Fidelity this summer. In October alone, Bitcoin gained around 24 percent.

As recently as March, the strongly fluctuating Bitcoin rate was below the mark of 4000 Dollar fallen. Since 2018 the rate of the cryptocurrency has fluctuated strongly several times. The last time there was a rapid rise in price to over .000 U.S. dollar.
