The construction and property company of North Rhine-Westphalia accidentally posted secret floor plans for the State Chancellery and confidential documents on the Internet.

The complete floor plans of the NRW State Chancellery and confidential documents for the planned renovation of the cabinet room have inadvertently been published freely accessible on the Internet. The state-owned construction and real estate company had published the papers, some of which were classified as classified, in a tender for painters and carpenters. The documents were removed following a request from the German Press Agency to the Düsseldorf State Chancellery. How the breakdown came about is “currently being clarified”, said a spokesman for the dpa.

Floor plans secret The State Chancellery in the so-called Landeshaus near the banks of the Rhine in Düsseldorf is currently being renovated. For the coming months, painting and carpentry work is planned throughout the house, including in the office of Prime Minister Armin Laschet (CDU) and in the cabinet room. Among other things, computer simulations of the new hall could be seen on the Internet, which were classified as classified “VS – Only for official use”. The floor plans are also considered safety-relevant information.
