Just yesterday we were talking about a problem in Cyberpunk 2077 which consisted of some interface elements, as well as transitions to some modes such as Braindance , can, with a very high probability, cause problems for users with epilepsy , although it is also believed that some of the patterns can also wreak havoc for users with other mental ailments, such as migraines.
As expected, the concern in the community has been enormous, because although it is unknown if it was intentionally or not, the transition to Braindance mode seems to be extremely similar to an apparatus used in the medical practice to provoke controlled epileptic seizures for diagnosis. Worse still, there is no way to disable it.
In CDPR they assure that they are working on a message separate from the classic message that we find in all games, where it is usually indicated that they “can” cause epileptic seizures, to make it clear that certain factors in the game will certainly be a problem for these people , at least while working on a more permanent solution.
While for now it is not known what this permanent solution will consist of, it is known that the game development team is exploring the matter and will incorporate a solution as soon as possible, although it is not mentioned if it will arrive in the game’s launch patch the day 12 or not.
