CES 2021: 11th Gen Tiger Lake H Intel Core H CPUs for High Performance 4 and 10 Nanometer PCIe Laptops
Source: Geeknetic added 11th Jan 2021The eleventh generation Intel Core, Tiger Lake, has been on the market for some time in low-power laptops with processors such as the Core i7 – 1165 G7 that we have analyzed on more than one occasion. Now, at its CES event, the company has announced the arrival of the 11th generation of Intel Core H-Series “Tiger Lake-H” processors with speeds up to 5 GHz on multiple cores at the same time and manufactured at 10 nanometers with Willow Cove CPU architecture.
Will arrive 14 Tiger Lake H processors with PCIe 4.0, Thunderbolt 4.0 and WiFi 6E support.
There will be 14 H-range processors, with models from up to 8 Tiger Lake H cores that will arrive together with PCI Express technology 4.0 and support for the new Thunderbolt 4 or WiFi 6E Killer technologies.
In addition, the company has announced a special edition model with four cores designed for high-end laptops. performance with only 1.6 cm thick.
At the moment, no we know the details of cores, GHz and other specific specifications of the 14 new models , but the company will soon announce all those details.
The 4-core model next to the RTX 3000 of nVIDIA laptops can move games 4K on a very thin profile.
Performance wise Intel has shown Destiny 2 running on one of those 4 core Tiger Lake H processors on a very thin rig along with one of the “new NVIDIA graphics” that have not yet been released for notebooks. The game ran smoothly even in 4K, but we will not know the specific FPS until the presentation of these new GPUs which, except for surprise, will be the RTX 3000 possibly.
