MSI has announced its first SSDs in M.2 format with NVMe and PCI Express 4.0 x4 interface. These are several models capable of reaching 7. 000 MB / s sequential read speed and 6 . 900 MB / s of writing also sequential.

They are based on memories TLC type 3D NAND and, as we can see in the photographs that the company has shown, they will come with their own heatsink with a design of several metal fins and “gaming” aesthetics in line with the design that the company usually uses in its gaming components, with the dragon logo.

They thus join other manufacturers who have dared to make the leap to high-performance SSD units such as gigabyte with their Aorus SSDs, also with models equipped with PCIe 4.0 connectivity that we have already analyzed here at GEEKENETIC.

At the moment the company has not revealed more details such as its maximum capacity, the models in which it will arrive and not even its name beyond “MSI SSD”, so we will have to and Hope we can get the specifications to tell you all the secrets of these new units.
