CES 2021: Nvidia announces GeForce RTX: Game On event for January 12 RTX 3080 Ti or RTX 3060 in sight?
Source: Geeknetic added 17th Dec 2020NVIDIA has announced that on 12 January 2021, within the scope of CES 2021, there will be an online event called GeForce RTX: Game On where they will unveil “the latest innovations in gaming and graphics” , so everything indicates that we will see a new graphics card from the RTX series 30 based on Ampere architecture.
RTX 3080 Ti or RTX 3060 in sight?
The latest rumors suggested that NVIDIA is preparing to launch of two graphs, on the one side the RTX 3060 and on the other the RTX 3080 Ti. The first will be the most modest graphic in the RTX series 30, below the RTX 3060 Ti, while the RTX 3080 You would take the small gap in performance (not price) that currently exists between the 3080 and the 3090.
As we learned this past Tuesday, the rumors and leaks suggest that the launch of the RTX 3060 would take place in January, leaving the 3080 Ti for the following February , so if we trust these data, the announced graph would be the RTX 3060. This model would arrive in two variants, one with 6 GB of VRAM and another with 12 GB.
It will finally be necessary to see if these graphs, or other models, are announced and launched in a market where, as of today, there is hardly any stock of the rest of the RTX graphs 30 recently released.
