General Motors has presented a concept for a flying Cadillac: At the CES, the company showed how future high-flyers could automatically transport passengers through the air.

General Motors’ VTOL concept can only carry a single passenger. At the presentation in the CES livestream, however, GM stated that a concept for two passengers was also in the works. According to the automaker, the drone would fly with a kilowatt-hour electric motor that drives four rotors.

Self-driving GM shuttle At CES, GM showed another concept of this kind: a self-driving family shuttle that is supposed to do without a steering wheel or pedals. The car concept includes a glass roof and sensors that can read the health data of passengers.

In addition to classic settings such as temperature and lighting can also adjust the smell in the interior of the automated vehicle. The GM mobile would also be able to respond to voice commands and gestures. Like the Cadillac whiz kid, the self-driving GM car is unlikely to go into production.
