CES: Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Titanium: Notebook with a work-friendly 3: 2 display

The 12, 5-inch notebook ThinkPad X1 Titanium Yoga is not only available in eponymous color and weighs less than 1.2 kilograms, but also has a touchscreen with a work-friendly aspect ratio of 3: 2 (2256 × 1504 pixels, 450 cd / m²). Thanks to 360 – degree hinges that can be less than 12 Use a millimeter flat device optionally as a pen-operated tablet.
Intel processors of the eleventh Core-i generation (Tiger Lake) work in the ThinkPad X1 Titanium Yoga, which are up to 16 GByte LPDDR4X memory and SSDs up to 1 TByte are available. Wi-Fi 6 is always on board, and LTE or 5G are also possible. Both USB-C sockets speak Thunderbolt 4; Lenovo puts the battery life at just under 11 hours. The ThinkPad X1 Titanium Yoga is slated for February 2020 at prices from 2560 Euro.
New editions of Carbon and Yoga The tried and tested ThinkPad X1 Carbon and ThinkPad X1 Yoga series are also receiving upgrades. The carbon of the meanwhile ninth generation and the yoga of the sixth generation are due in April at prices from 1840 euros (carbon) respectively 2080 Euro (yoga). They also come with the eleventh Core i generation and associated innovations such as Thunderbolt 4.

The biggest change compared to previous models, however, concerns the screen: Instead of displays in 16: There are now 9 16: 10 – Screens with a noticeable plus in image height. The two 13 – Zöller follow the notebook flagships of other manufacturers: Dell’s XPS 12 and other noble 13, 3-inch models brought the 16: 10 -Comfort already 2020.
Small side note: That in late autumn 2020 presented ThinkPad X1 Nano – a compact 12, 5-inch with 16: 10 screen – has not yet made it into stores, but that should change in January 2021. The prices start at 2100 Euro.
Tablet with keyboard cover Originally there was still the ThinkPad X1 tablet in the X1 family, but its design – a tablet with a magnetically docking keyboard cover – was introduced set for a few years. As an indirect successor, the ThinkPad X 12 Detachable will be available in March. Despite the similar name, it is not a high-end device, but plays with prices 1180 euros in the upper middle class.

Behind the 12, 3-inch screen in 3: 2 format contains all of the technology for a Core-i processor of the eleventh generation with up to 16 GByte LPDDR4X-RAM and up to 1 TByte SSD storage space. Wi-Fi 6 is always on board, LTE optional. The tablet alone weighs less than 450 grams; with the keyboard cover clipped on, the weight increases to 1.1 kilograms.
