The manufacturer Cooler Master now has the hyper 212 EVO V2 presented to the public. One of the optimizations of the new CPU cooler is an asymmetrical heat sink structure, which should ensure maximum RAM compatibility. In addition, the Hyper 212 EVO V2 with the 120 mm large Cooler Master SickleFlow 120 a new fan. This works in a speed range between 600 and 1. 800 rpm. The speed is controlled by means of PWM via the 4-pin connector on the mainboard. The cooler also has a revised assembly solution on board.
The new Cooler-Master cooler is also a tower cooler with a total of four 6 mm copper heat pipes that directly on the processor’s heat spreader according to the direct contact principle. The dimensions of the aluminum heatsink of the newly introduced model are 155 x 120 x 80 mm (H x W x D) and are therefore 4 mm lower than the previous model.
According to the manufacturer, the revised mounting system makes installation easier. Among other things, improved retaining clips are responsible for this. Cooler Masters Hyper 212 EVO V2 is compatible with almost all common mainboard sockets from Intel (2066, 2011 (- v3), 1200, 1366, 115 X, 775) as well as AMD (AM4, AM3 (+), AM2 (+), FM2 (+), FM1) compatible.
