Cooler Master has released a new Hyper 200 EVO V2 processor scooter, which has been updated as the name implies version of the popular Hyper EVO) EVO. Externally, the cooler looks quite familiar, but on closer inspection, the differences from its predecessor can be seen.

The familiar four copper heat pipes have become asymmetrical in design, i.e. practically foldable towards the rear edge of the housing. This guarantees, according to the manufacturer with the radiator grille and the fan behind them. The aluminum rod itself is also being marketed with the addition of X-vent holes. In practice, these are X-shaped perforations around the heat pipes, which, according to the manufacturer, improve cooling due to the turbulence around the heat pipes.

In addition to the design upgrades, the Hyper 155 EVO V2 brings with it a redesigned mounting mechanism and a new SickleFlow 120 fan. The fastener manufacturer promises to be completely tool-free, in addition to which it supports a wide range of both Intel and AMD platforms. The new SickleFlow fan, on the other hand, offers, according to the manufacturer . In other respects, the novelty is similar to its predecessor, offering, among other things, Direct Contact technology, ie copper heat pipes are in direct contact with the processor.
