Corsair 5000, even more room for high-end configurations

Corsair unveiled three new houses – 5000 D, 5000 D Airflow and iCUE 5000 X RGB – for those who love the design of the series models 4000 but needs more space, both for high-end hardware and for mounting a custom liquid system.

Corsair has expanded the offering by mid-tower ATX case with new series 5000 , composed of three models that take the name of Corsair 5000 D, 5000 D Airflow and iCUE 5000 X RGB . This is a larger range than the series 4000 (here the review of the iCUE 4000 X RGB), in fact it passes from 453 x 230 x 466 mm a 520 x 245 x 520 mm in order to accommodate larger hardware but also custom liquid systems . The design, on the other hand, is the same, with a different front depending on the model.
All Corsair series cases 5000 are made of steel, tempered glass plastic, have seven slots for additional cards to which are added two slots for the mounting a card vertically . In terms of storage space, two 3.5-inch, four 2.5-inch drives can be mounted , video cards up to 420 mm long and CPU coolers up to 170 mm.
The houses can accommodate up to two radiators of 360 mm, a maximum of 10 fans from 120 mm or 4 of 140 mm and ATX power supplies with a length up to 225 mm. All homes share the new RapidRoute cable management system, which allows you to create an elegant and orderly, and route the main cables through a large hidden opening for optimal connection to the motherboard. The houses also boast 25 mm of space behind the motherboard to hide the cables from view, a removable compartment to cover the power supply, numerous cable glands and a dedicated vertical cable routing channel.
versions 5000 D and 5000 D AIRFLOW are equipped with two fans from 25 mm with Corsair AirGuide technology, while the 5000 X RGB model raises the bar with three SP fans 120 RGB ELITE AirGuide included in supplied, each of which includes eight individually adjustable RGB LEDs that can be managed via the included iCUE Lighting Node CORE controller and CORSAIR iCUE software.
On the front panel there is one USB 3.1 Type C port, two USB 3.0 and one combo jack for audio and microphone or.
