Page 1: Corsair HS 60 Haptic in the test: Camouflage -Headset with bass vibration

Corsair could in the past with its headset- Solutions are often convincing, but what was missing in the portfolio so far was a gaming headset with a haptic engine, as is sometimes offered by the competition. The new Corsair HS 50 Haptic is supposed to close this gap. In our test, we clarify how much the visually striking headset makes our ears vibrate.

Last we got with the Corsair HS 50 Pro Surround launched an HS representative from Corsair last November put to the test. Now, almost a year later, the HS 60 – series with the HS 50 Haptic added another model. As the name suggests, Corsair has grabbed the well-known HS 60 and equipped with a haptic engine, which in this case comes from Taction and should score with a particularly strong vibration output. In addition, there are adapted 50 – mm drivers and the familiar housing with a more conspicuous look.

For all of this Corsair calls a price of 130 euros. Not surprisingly, there is a surcharge for the new haptic engine.
