Introduction

Corsair is a US-based peripherals and hardware company founded in 1994. Following the Sabre RGB Pro, the M65 RGB Ultra gets the same 8000 Hz polling treatment. Aside from the upgraded polling rate, the M65 RGB Ultra also comes with optical switches, promising very low latency along with no double-clicking due to wear and tear. On the launch batch, Omron optical switches are used, whereas later batches utilize TTC optical switches. Furthermore, Corsair’s custom Marksman sensor capable of 26,000 CPI is used, which can be adjusted in 1 CPI increments. The frame of the M65 RGB Ultra is made out of aluminium, and the weight can be adjusted by adding up to three weights. A six-axis gyro and accelerometer allow for particularly low lift-off distance along with programming tilt gestures, which can be used to execute certain functions upon tilting the mouse in a specific way. These functions, among others, are accessible through iCUE, which the M65 RGB Ultra is of course compatible with. Lastly, the M65 RGB Ultra is compatible with NVIDIA Reflex, allowing one to measure click latency in real time on a Reflex-compatible monitor.
