Introduction

Founded in 1998, Corsair is a US-based peripherals and gaming equipment company. Compared to the right-handed ergonomic Darkstar Wireless and its 15 programmable buttons, the Nightsabre Wireless is ambidextrous and “only” comes with 11 programmable buttons, making it more suited towards FPS and MOBA games than MMOs. The scroll wheel can be tilted to the left and right, giving access to two additional binds and allowing for horizontal scrolling. At 96 g, the Nightsabre Wireless weighs virtually the same as the Darkstar Wireless, and the feet likewise are made of pure PTFE. On the performance side, the Nightsabre Wireless comes with Corsair’s Marksman sensor capable of 26,000 CPI and TTC optical switches for the main buttons, which ensure low latency without any inadvertent double-clicking due to wear and tear. Both 2.4 GHz wireless and Bluetooth operation is supported, with battery life being 65 and 100 hours, respectively, albeit without illumination. Speaking of, the particularly rich RGB lighting can be configured within iCUE, which also has all the other usual customization options, including for multiple profiles.
