Introduction

Corsair entered the PC monitor market back in 2021 by introducing the Xeneon product lineup. It currently consists of six monitors, with four of them being equipped with IPS panels and two sporting OLED displays. All of the company’s monitors reveal their key specifications in their respectable model numbers. The Xeneon 27QHD240 OLED, which we’ll focus on in this review, has a 27-inch QHD (2560×1440) panel with a refresh rate of 240 Hz. What the name doesn’t reveal is that it’s an OLED panel, making this a top-of-the-line monitor in Corsair’s portfolio. Only the extravagant Xeneon Flex 45WQHD240, with its bendable 45-inch OLED panel, tops it.

If you spent any time researching gaming OLED monitors in 2023, the Xeneon 27QHD240 OLED’s combination of specs will sound familiar. That’s because it’s virtually identical to the LG 27GR95QE, Asus ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDM, and Acer Predator X27U, three other 27-inch 240 Hz monitors that are built around identical WOLED panels, manufactured by LG Display. Corsair puts its spin on things by shipping the Xeneon 27QHD240 OLED with a 3-year warranty, which includes burn-in. This isn’t the case with either competitor, as their monitors include a 2-year warranty and offer no burn-in coverage. Price-wise, they’re all in roughly the same $1,000 bracket, although their exact prices vary. At the time of writing this review, LG’s monitor was the least expensive one coming in at $885, followed by the $900 Acer Predator X27U. Both the Asus ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDM and Corsair Xeneon 27QHD240 OLED cost a cool $1,000.
